Yacco LR ORGANIC is a 100% organic coolant.
Ready-to-use coolant with organic additives, MEG and demineralised water. This product does not need to be diluted with water.
Suitable for all cooling systems (cast iron, aluminium, etc.) in all type of vehicles (passenger cars, lorries, construction and agricultural equipment, motorcycles, etc.), and particularly when the manufacturer recommends an organic fluid.
Properties and advantages
Outstanding thermal conductibility allows for effective heat removal.
No evaporation in service.
High boiling point.
Forms a durable protective film on metal parts (by oxidation and then passivation).
Protects cylinder heads and cooling systems against cavitation (turbulence in the fluid flow).
Excellent protection against frost, even under extreme temperatures.
Allows for prolonged periods of time between oil changes (depending on the OEM recommendation).
NAP free: no nitrites, amines (low toxicity) or phosphates (environmentally friendly).
Important: in cooling systems equipped with blue silicone hoses, refer to the OEM recommendation and only use YACCO LR-35, unless an organic coolant is clearly specified by the manufacturer. Some EURO 6 engines have a newrequirement (Si-OAT hybrid coolant, etc.)
The change in European environmental standards has led to the banning of substances classified as CMR (nitrite, borates, 2-EHA) found in all coolants. A new range replaces the existing ones. This new formula, based on monoethylene glycol, demineralized water and organic additives, can under no circumstances be mixed with the old formula, even as a light top-up.
These 2 immiscible formulas can create pasty residues that could clog the cooling circuit.
This new liquid has the same protection temperature point as the old one: -35°C, as well as the same boiling points.
It is therefore imperative to completely drain the coolant in the circuit before changing or topping up the coolant.
Please refer to the procedure described in the Rotax® light maintenance manual before draining the coolant: section 12-20-00 pages 20 to 25.
Main steps of the procedure :
- Drain all fluid from the system.
- Bleed the system with pure water at 2 bar pressure (hoses, radiator, engine, etc.).
- Fill the system with new-formula organic coolant.
Run the engine briefly and top up with organic coolant
